As HR Executive Director for On-Highway, Supply Chain, and Quality in the Engine Business, Eric takes care of programs that touch each of the 60,000 plus employees at Cummins Inc. The programs he leads and provides oversight for help ensure employees feel welcomed, valued, respected, and heard.
Over Eric’s 20 years with Cummins, he has held various roles in human resources. He has a proven track record of building strong relationships with employees, third party representatives, and managers to create the right work environment for employees to thrive and the business to prosper. His current and prior roles have informed his philosophy that strong talent, leadership accountability, and an inclusive culture are key levers to organizational transformation and effectiveness.
Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in English and political science from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock and a juris doctorate from Vanderbilt Law School. He is a certified diversity coach and a Six Sigma Green Belt. He also holds several certifications in the analysis and facilitation of assessment tools, such as the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument, and Fundamental Interpersonal Orientation Behavior
He lives in Fishers, IN with his wife and daughter. In his spare time, he reads at least one non-fiction book per month, enjoys listening to live music and traveling with his family.
