Lucas Rigotto is the Chief Service Officer and Divisional Board Member for GEA Liquid and Powder Technology, leading its global Service Organization—a key driver of the company’s differentiation, growth, and profitability. He also oversees GEA Group’s overall service strategy for Mission 30, which represents nearly 40% of group revenues and involves over 4,000 employees (according to publically available information).

GEA is a leading manufacturer of machinery for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries and a pioneer in sustainability. It was the first MDAX-listed company to commit to full carbon neutrality by 2030. GEA’s science-based sustainability efforts have earned it recognition as #33 globally and #3 in Germany by Time Magazine. Additionally, it was the first MDAX company to secure 98.4% shareholder approval for its Say on Climate commitment. GEA achieved its 2026 business and sustainability targets two years ahead of schedule and has now set even more ambitious goals for 2030 under its Mission 30 strategy.

A Brazilian national living in Germany for nearly a decade, Lucas holds a degree in Electronics Engineering, a postgraduate qualification in Business, and has pursued additional studies at Harvard and IMD. He began his career as a Field Engineer and advanced into global roles at GE Healthcare and GE Oil & Gas (now Baker Hughes) before joining GEA.
